Sorry for the lack of posts lately, we've had our noses to the grindstones preparing for Spring testing and will stay that way until we all pass that test! :) We are well on our way, learning and working hard everyday. Today we had a lesson on probability, here are the groups at work...

Read to Succeed!
We are beginning the Read to Succeed Program. Please see your child's folder today for the recording sheet. If you record 6 hours of reading time by Feburary 28th, your child will receive a free ticket to Six Flags over Texas in Arlington!

Back to Work!
I hope everyone had an excellent holiday! It sounds like the kids all had great Christmases with tons of fun in the snow! We started right back to work today, no easing back in required. After reading The Missing Mitten Mystery by Stephen Kellog we made mitten pairs with words that build contractions.
