Spring has Sprung!

What beautiful weather we were blessed with for Spring Break! I hope you made the most of it...now back to work. Before the break we worked through a reading skills practice book to brush up for the state test and all of the classes ROCKED it!!!! I could not be more proud. We have to stay focused though and not let SpRiNg FeVeR set in.

This week we will be focusing our energy on using prefixes and suffixes to understand the meanings of unfamiliar words. You will recognize many of the word parts from our Greek and Latin units so I think everyone will do well.  Still no spelling this week.

Parent-Teacher Conferences are this week Tuesday and Thursday from 3:30-6:45....so spread the word. This, of course, means no school Friday, sorry about that I know you enjoy coming so much this will be painful for you. ;)
