HAPPY NEW YEAR!

I hope everyone had a nice Christmas Break and a super New Year's celebration...now it's back to the regular schedule.  (Insert kids groan and parents cheer here.)

Over the next two weeks we will be studying Greek and Latin Roots. This week we will focus on the 42 most commonly used Greek parts and move on to Latin roots next week.

There will be a vocabulary test and spelling test on January 8th.

The vocabulary test will cover the meaning of the 42 Greek word parts. A list will be handed out Monday in class so you can begin studying. To practice on Quizlet click HERE.

The spelling test will be over the following ten words that use Greek roots:

1. astronomer                6. hydrate
2. biology                      7. kilometer
3. cycle                         8. megabyte
4. democracy                9. octagon
5. geologist                 10. panorama
