New News
I've been working on a new website for our class! I would like to be able to post documents or videos and this blog will not support those features. So....check out the work in progress at mwilliams6th.weebly.com :)

When we return we will be doing lessons in our notebooks on Nonfiction Text Structures and Author's Purpose. We will have a new spelling list as well. The first chance spelling test will be Jan 22 and the final opportunity to test on this list will be Jan 29th. Here's the list if you would like to get a head start. You can also study this list online at Spelling City by clicking HERE.

In the spring we will be doing a novel unit over the book The
Westing Game. This month the Scholastic Book Club is offering a paperback
copy of the book for $1. If your child would like their own book to use during
our unit please send money to school by January 22nd. I will have a set of books
available in our classroom, so this is not required. If
you would like to purchase one additional copy for our classroom it would be
greatly appreciated.
